This is a site-based, boots-on-the-ground role, working alongside the construction delivery team with the support of your engineering team.
You will have access to senior leaders when you need it, but you will be accountable for the overall project outcome.Manage a major project or several smaller projects at the same timeLead planning, programming, procurement, resourcing and construction deliveryManage budgets, forecasts, costs, progress claims, variations and final accountsAdminister the contract and protect HEH Civil's commercial positionLead and develop our Project Engineers and Site Engineers, and manage Supervisors, subcontractors and site teamsDeliver Transport and Main Roads projects in line with contract, personnel schedule and reporting requirementsManage safety, quality, environmental and project compliance requirementsMaintain accurate project records, reporting and documentationBuild strong relationships with clients, superintendent, authorities and stakeholdersIdentify project risks early and make practical decisions to keep work movingDeliver projects safely, on time,



within budget and to the required standardAbout youYou will be an established civil construction Project Manager who is comfortable taking responsibility, making decisions and developing the engineers around you.At least 10 years' experience working on civil construction projects in Australia at a Project Manager levelA degree in Civil EngineeringProven experience delivering water infrastructure and Transport and Main Roads projects, with airport or other major civil infrastructure experience highly regardedCurrent Transport and Main Roads personnel schedule approvalA track record of taking full responsibility for project delivery and commercial outcomesStrong contract administration, programming and cost control capabilityExperience managing progress claims, variations, subcontractors and suppliersExperience leading, mentoring and developing Project Engineers and Site EngineersStrong client and stakeholder management skillsA practical approach to safety, quality, risk and problem-solvingField or plant operation experience will be highly regardedWhy join HEH Civil?
