As demand for our products continues to grow, we're expanding our operations, investing in our people, and creating new opportunities across our manufacturing team.Due to continued business growth and increasing demand for our products, we're looking for experienced Packing Machine Operators to join our team across our Afternoon Shifts on a permanent full-time basis.About the RoleAs a Packing Machine Operator, you will work across a range of our production and packing lines, providing additional coverage and backfilling where required.This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working across different equipment, products and teams.
You will be trained across multiple areas of our operation, giving you the skills and flexibility to support production wherever needed.Responsibilities include:Setting up and starting packing equipmentOperating and monitoring packing machinery throughout production runsTroubleshooting machinery and resolving basic mechanical issuesCompleting secure start-up and end-of-shift shutdown proceduresEnsuring packaging materials and supplies are sufficiently stockedAssisting with product changeovers and basic preventative maintenanceOperating equipment including metal detectors, x-ray systems, check weighers, sleevers, case packers,



labellers and manual packing stationsPerforming quality checks and maintaining accurate production documentationMaintaining hygiene and sanitation standards in line with HACCP and GMPMeeting production targets and monitoring line performanceMoving between production areas as required to support operational needsWorking safely and in accordance with company quality and safety systemsAbout YouFull training will be provided to the right individuals; however, preference will be given to candidates who have:Previous machine operating experience, ideally within high-volume FMCG, food or healthcare manufacturingExperience working across different production lines or machineryKnowledge of HACCP, food safety, quality and safety principlesStrong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitudeThe ability to adapt quickly and work effectively across different teamsWillingness to learn a range of equipment and production processesReliability and a strong commitment to supporting the wider production teamWhat We Offer9-day fortnight – every second Friday offExtra leave day each yearOvertime opportunitiesTraining across multiple production lines and equipmentAnd, of course...
