You'll also play an significant role in mentoring junior team members, sharing knowledge and contributing to a collaborative team environment.This is a fully office-based role, working 5 days per week from conveniently located Melbourne offices close to public transport.
You'll join an experienced and supportive team where your expertise will be valued,



with opportunities to continue developing your specialist knowledge within the strata insurance sector.Your responsibilities will include:Managing end-to-end property and strata claims, including complex and high-value mattersAssessing policy coverage, liability and claim circumstances to determine appropriate outcomesManaging complex water damage, escape of liquid, burst pipe and other property-related claimsCoordinating investigations, building assessments, repairs and restoration worksNegotiating settlements and making sound, commercially minded claims decisionsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, insureds, assessors, builders and repairersIdentifying and resolving escalated or challenging claims mattersMaintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirementsSupporting team knowledge-sharing and contributing to continuous improvement across claims processesWhat we're looking for:Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end property claims, including complex claimsStrong technical knowledge of property damage, escape of liquid, burst pipe and water damage claimsPrevious experience in strata or body corporate insurance,
