In this role, you will be part of and based out of our Perth Branch, however the majority of your role will see you working between multiple sites in the Gold Fields and Pilbara regions.
You will predominantly be supporting clients Truck fleet, completing electrical installations and commissioning, pre-deployment testing on new mining equipment, electrical troubleshooting services and maintenance, component installations and repairs on Hitachi's EH mining trucks.
This permanent role will allow you access to OEM training while you build a long-term career with a global company.Reporting to the Mining Builds & Ad Hoc Supervisor you will be responsible for:Performing diagnostic evaluation and HV electrical maintenance on Hitachi Electric Mining TrucksProviding support across the complete range of Hitachi products throughout the Western RegionLiaising with technical support staff to achieve the most efficient outcomes and assist in product improvementsCompletion and submission of all relevant documentation and reporting paperworkMaintaining valuable working relationship with customers,



peers and other departmentsIdentification of continuous improvement opportunities within your area of responsibilityTo be successful in this role, you will need:Australian licenced High Voltage Electrical qualificationCurrent driver's licenseDemonstrated experience with Electric Drive Mining Equipment, OEM experience preferablePrevious Mine site exposure with a strong understanding of preventative maintenance and breakdown supportInherent requirement to attend multiple sitesUnderstand the importance of Workplace Health & Safety and be proactive in reducing hazardsHave excellent diagnostic, problem-solving and technical skillsAbility to work both in a team and autonomouslyHitachi BenefitsFlexible AD Hoc rosterCompetitive rate, 15% nightshift loading, $4 Pilbara & $2 Gold Fields zone allowancePotential to earn bi-annual bonuses!
