Mission IT Operator - AustraliaJob Category: Information TechnologyTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with PolygraphEmployee Type: Regular-Long Term AssignmentPercentage of Travel Required: NoneType of Travel: NoneWhat You'll Get to Do:Responsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure (servers, network, security, etc.) issues using systemsAnalysis techniques and proceduresEnsure appropriate function of hardware, software, or system functional specificationsAnalyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves issues with IT infrastructure including user systems, servers, storage, and network connectivityProvides system administration for assigned infrastructure and establishes and maintains security as it relates to usersSupports new infrastructure projectsMaintains all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructureMaster the steps required to effectively manage and prioritize incidentsSupport in times of high call volume, first-level technical support in a 24x7 world-class service center, responding to inbound incidents and service requests via phone, email, and walk-up channelsDeliver frontline support for system, application, network, and infrastructure issues, ensuring rapid, accurate triage and resolutionCreate and manage support tickets in a web-based ITSM/CRM platform while actively troubleshooting and communicating with end usersPerform initial assessment, triage, and resolution for common incidents; escalates complex or critical issues to Tier 2 or appropriate technical teamsEnsure that all technical baseline infrastructure is maintained at an optimal level to satisfy customer mission needsMonitor, recognize, evaluate, and correlate system and network problemsMaintain a privileged user level of access,



across numerous high-priority systemsInterface daily with government and partner country senior leadership, system operators, and engineers at the site and across the enterpriseRequired Qualifications:Active TS/SCI with Poly requiredMust have a current DODI -M IAT Level II Certification, Security+ CertificationAA Degree in a related technical discipline and relevant experience supporting enterprise operations or 3-5 years of related experience in lieu of education requirementsExcellent communication skills ensuring effective and accurate exchange of information across a multi-location enterprise, with customer visibility into crew-based actions and responsesMust be able to work a non-standard work week, weekends, and holidays; 12-hour shift work expected in support of 24x7 operationsDesired Qualifications:System administration experience to include UNIX, Linux, and Windows platformsExperience with virtualization technologies and software such as VMwareKnowledge and understanding of Enterprise Management Systems including HP OpenView, and CA-based ConcordWhat You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.An environment of trust.A focus on continuous growth.Pay Range: $55,800 - $111,500We offer competitive compensation, perks and learning and development opportunities.
