About the Role
We are currently recruiting an experienced Fixed Plant Electrician to join our client's maintenance team, FIFO from Perth.
You will undertake electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs across fixed plant equipment and infrastructure, supporting plant reliability and protected, efficient processing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventative and corrective electrical maintenance on fixed plant equipmentDiagnose and repair electrical faults across crushers, screens, conveyors and associated processing equipmentMaintain and troubleshoot motors, motor control centres,



variable speed drives and control circuitsSupport planned maintenance, shutdown activities and breakdown responseRead and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsInspect electrical equipment, identify defects and report maintenance requirementsWork closely with mechanical trades, operators and supervisors to coordinate maintenance activitiesFollow site isolation, lockout/tagout and permit-to-work proceduresComplete maintenance records and maintain a safe, tidy work area
To Be Successful
A recognised Electrical trade qualification and current WA Electrical LicencePrevious fixed plant electrical maintenance experience within mining or heavy industryStrong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skillsExperience maintaining processing equipment such as crushers, screens and conveyorsSound knowledge of motors, motor control centres, variable speed drives and control systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsA strong commitment to safety and following site proceduresA reliable, team-focused approach and ability to work independentlyWillingness to undertake FIFO work in a remote mining environment
