Established in ****, MI Plumbers delivers industry leading plumbing construction, fit-out, maintenance and surveying services to the mining, Defence, civil, industrial and commercial sectors in Western Australia.Our exceptional quality of workmanship and proven ability to deliver on local and remote projects of all sizes and scopes has enabled us to forge long term partnerships with clients statewide and established us as a trusted and reliable partner of choice.The roleReporting to the Construction Manager, you'll take ownership of the estimating and tendering process from reviewing plans, specifications and scopes through to preparing accurate, competitive tenders and following up opportunities.
You'll work closely with our Construction team, builders, subcontractors and suppliers to understand project requirements, identify risks and develop commercially sound pricing.Your strong understanding of commercial plumbing construction methodologies will be key to the role, with the ability to accurately assess and complete material, equipment and labour take-offs across plumbing projects.
This includes experience with multi-level stacks, commercial hot water plants, trade waste treatment systems and civil site utilities, ensuring estimates are practical, detailed and reflective of the work required to deliver each project successfully.Prepare accurate and detailed estimates, tenders,



bids and proposals within required timeframesReview plans, specifications and scopes to determine project requirements, costs and potential risksManage tender deadlines, submissions and follow up, including reviewing and communicating tender feedbackAnalysing supplier pricing, historical data and market trends to maintain competitive and profitable pricingManage procurement of materials, fixtures, fittings and equipment for awarded projectsKey attributes and experiencePrevious trade experience, specifically within a commercial plumbing setting will be highly regardedAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsProven ability to interpret drawings, specifications and scopes of workComprehensive expertise in commercial plumbing installationsStrong commercial acumen with an eye for detailHighly developed analytical and numeracy skillsStrong communicator with a proven ability to form strong working relationshipsFoster positive relationships with clients and contractorsOn offerVariety of projects across commercial construction and Defence sectorsBe part of an established team with a wealth of industry experience and strong staff retentionVery strong pipeline of workCommercial Maintenance & Construction Plumbers Since ****Licence's PL**** & PL**** - GF**** & GF****
