Location: Girraween, NSW
Salary Package: $110,000 - $120,000 + superannuation, depending on experience
Role Highlights
This role sits within the Finance team and is responsible for a broad range of accounting, financial reporting, forecasting and reconciliation activities.
You will support weekly and monthly reporting, contribute to month-end processes and provide financial analysis to assist with business decision-making.
The position offers exposure to operational and commercial finance within a large-scale organisation, utilising Excel, SAGE and internal reporting systems.
Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and timely completion of weekly and monthly financial reporting.
Assist with month-end processes, reporting deadlines and general ledger reconciliations.
Investigate and analyse discrepancies, variances, trends and anomalies across financial reports.
Support weekly forecasting activities and provide financial analysis to assist business planning.
Review financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key cost drivers and material variances.




Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial support and resolve accounting issues.
Assist with ad-hoc finance, reporting and analysis tasks as required.
Candidate Profile
Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Assistant Accountant or similar accounting role.
Strong Excel skills, with experience using SAGE or other accounting systems highly regarded.
Experience with financial reporting, general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate financial discrepancies.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a rapid-paced environment.
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
