Senior Hydraulic Engineer | Senior to Associate – Brisbane
An established Brisbane Building Services consultancy is looking to add an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to its growing team, with the opportunity to appoint at either Senior or Associate level depending on experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more ownership across projects, stronger client exposure and the opportunity to play a key role within a growing hydraulic team.
The consultancy has a strong pipeline of work and offers the chance to work across a broad range of Building Services projects within an experienced multidisciplinary environment.
About the Role
Deliver hydraulic engineering projects from concept through to completionTake ownership of hydraulic design, documentation and project deliveryWork directly with clients, architects, builders and project stakeholdersCoordinate with mechanical, electrical, fire and other Building Services disciplinesProvide technical guidance to engineers and designersReview designs and documentation for quality, compliance and constructabilityAssist with project planning, resourcing and deliveryDevelop and maintain robust client relationshipsDepending on experience,
take on greater responsibility across team leadership and business development
About You
Strong background in Building Services hydraulic engineeringExperience delivering hydraulic designs across commercial and/or major building projectsConfident managing projects and working directly with clientsStrong understanding of hydraulic services, NCC requirements and relevant Australian StandardsComfortable working within multidisciplinary project teamsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience mentoring engineers or designers would be highly regardedRPEQ registered, or willing to work towards RPEQ registration, would be advantageousCandidates operating at either Senior or Associate level will be considered
