This role is ideal for uni students, for example, studying Education, Software Engineering, Video Game Development, etc. looking for hands-on experience working with kids while building confidence and skills in tech and leadership.Is this you?
:Experienced and interested in working with kids aged 5 - 12Between 2-5 afternoons of weekday availabilityAble to work approximately 3pm - 5pm over 8 weeks (more opportunities available for the right staff member!)Someone who feels confident speaking in front of a group, is enthusiastic and a positive problem solverTrustworthy, independent,



punctual and reliableAbout the position:Our various Newcastle locations run Monday + Thursday afternoons in Term 4You will be provided our fun easy-to-follow lesson plan to deliver to a small class of primary-aged childrenPaid training provided as well as constant support from a our online tech-support teamStaff are required to supply their own Laptop and HDMI adapter for personal useRequired Skills/Certifications:While we don't require a specific degree, you should have some or all of the following:Valid NSW Employee Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain immediately)Prior experience working with or being around young kids (aged 5 - 12) is essential as this role involves leading and facilitating a classFirst Aid + CPR Highly RegardedTech-savvy with an interest in science, tech and creativityMature outlook, common sense and the ability to supervise childrenGreat customer service when speaking to school staff or parentsFluent conversational English
