Junior Accountant / Bookkeeper (Part-Time) 25 hours per weekJP Family Group is seeking a Junior Accountant/Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day financial management of the group.
Reporting to the Operations Officer and working closely with external accountants, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations for the group and be responsible for core bookkeeping and accounting functions while providing administrative support across the office.Key responsibilitiesOversee accounts payable and accounts receivableProcessing paymentsAssisting with payrollSupport the financial management of the groupComplete month-end processing and account reconciliationsPrepare financial reports and support taxation lodgementsMaintain the fixed asset register for multiple entitiesAssist the Operations Officer with taxation and compliance mattersContribute to the review and improvement of financial processesAbout youCertificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent,
or a degree in accounting (completed or near completion)Previous experience in an accounts and administration roleDemonstrated experience with MYOB (essential)Proficiency in Microsoft 365Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a small teamThe highest level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential informationAdaptability and a willingness to learn new systems and processesAbout usJP Family Group is a private family office based at Indooroopilly providing financial, administrative and compliance management across a group of family-owned entities.
