JBS Townsville are currently recruiting a customer focused Laundry Clothing Storeperson to join the team in a full-time capacity.
Reporting to the Assistant Plant Manager, this role is responsible for the efficient operation of the clothing store and laundry function, ensuring employees have access to clean, serviceable and compliant workwear and personal protective equipment (PPE).
This role supports site safety, hygiene and operational requirements through the issuing, receiving, laundering, stock control and maintenance of uniforms and PPE.
The position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service when supporting employees across the site.Full-time positionMonday to Friday3am to *****pm$***** per hourAbout YouPrevious experience in a stores, warehouse, inventory, laundry, clothing store or customer service role advantageousPrevious experience working within a manufacturing, industrial, food processing or similar operational environment advantageousKnowledge of workplace health and safety requirements, particularly regarding PPE management and manual handlingBasic understanding of record-keeping and inventory management systemsStrong organisational and time management skillsAccurate data entry and record-keeping skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsEffective problem-solving and customer service skillsBasic computer literacy, including MS Office and inventory management systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to build positive working relationships with employees across all levels of the businessAbility to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting, carrying and moving uniforms and stockAbility to follow established procedures,
