About Our School

St Charles was opened in **** and is one of the oldest K-6 Co-Educational schools in Sydney. It is a Positive Behaviour for Learning school that enjoys a wonderful reputation in the local community for academic excellence and for strong pastoral and faith roots. The school is part of a vibrant Ryde/Gladesville Parish community with a current enrolment of 582 students.

About You

As aPhysical Education Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:
expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
expertise in Physical Education Curriculum,



with a solid ability to manage and develop sporting programs and carnivals
strong classroom management and student well-being focus
ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as perAccreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
