This is a full-time position based in Charmhaven, NSW ****.
As the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for everyone who visits our hospital.
This position is essential to the smooth operation of our practice and directly impacts client satisfaction and retention.Key responsibilitiesGreeting clients and their pets with a warm, skilled and courteous manner upon arrivalManaging reception desk operations, including answering phones, directing calls and taking messages accuratelyScheduling and confirming appointments for veterinary consultations, ensuring optimal use of staff time and resourcesProcessing client payments using practice management software and maintaining accurate financial recordsMaintaining client records and updating patient information in the veterinary management systemProviding clients with information about veterinary services, procedures and pricingManaging reception area cleanliness and organisation to maintain a professional environmentAssisting veterinary staff as needed during busy periods or emergenciesHandling client enquiries and complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues when necessaryProcessing invoices, managing stock orders for reception supplies and supporting general administrative tasksWhat we're looking forPrevious client-facing reception or customer service experience, ideally within a veterinary practice or healthcare environmentExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientsStrong organisational abilities and attention to detail,
