Your New Role:
The Canteen Supervisor, under the supervision of the Principal, is responsible, with the assistance of volunteer helpers, for the operation of the School Canteen. The main aim of the canteen is to provide and promote a variety of nutritious and healthy foods to students and staff in accordance with Healthy Schools Canteen guidelines.

Work Schedule 9 hours per week Monday 9:30am - 2pm

Salary: Level 3A: $***** per hour - Averaged (term-time only)

Essential Criteria
Previous experience in customer service/hospitality and food preparation
Ability to plan, organise and monitor the daily operations of the canteen in accordance with established procedures
Knowledge of correct food handling and hygiene procedures




The ability to be a team player with a high level of demonstrated communication skills
Ability to work in high demand areas
Aptitude for working with students
Capacity to work with and manage canteen volunteers
Willingness to work with School Leadership and staff
Abide by the policies and procedures of St Joseph's Primary School
Current Working with Children Check
Successful Candidate will under go a National Criminal History Check and Functional Assessment

Desirable Criteria
A food Handling or Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willingness to undertake such training
Knowledge of the NSW Schools Canteen Guidelines
Experience with School24 online ordering software
