Community Support Assistant - Muslim Community Team
InvoCare is seeking a caring, organised, and community-minded Sales & Community Support Assistant to join our communities' team.
This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career in customer service, sales support, and community engagement while making a meaningful difference to families during important life moments.
Working closely with our Community Consultants and Muslim community stakeholders, you will play an key role in supporting families, maintaining customer relationships, following up enquiries, and ensuring all administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
About the Role:
As a Sales & Community Support Assistant, you will provide administrative and customer support to our communities' team, helping families navigate burial and memorial enquiries with professionalism, respect, and cultural sensitivity.
You will assist with customer follow-up, appointment coordination, record keeping, and community engagement activities while building trusted relationships within the Muslim community and supporting the delivery of exceptional customer service.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn about memorial services, develop sales support skills, and contribute to meaningful outcomes for families and communities.
What You'll Be Doing:
Following up enquiries from families and community members via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
Providing administrative support to the Communities Sales team




Coordinating appointments and maintaining accurate customer records
Preparing documentation, agreements, and customer correspondence
Assisting with customer service enquiries and ensuring timely responses
Building positive relationships within the Muslim community and supporting community engagement activities
Supporting local events, information sessions, and community initiatives
About You:
Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience in administration, customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales support
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Confidence communicating with customers both over the phone and in person
An understanding of Muslim cultural values and traditions, or strong connections within the Muslim community
A friendly, empathetic, and skilled approach
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
