We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance and Payroll Officer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, people-focused payroll service alongside a broader remit of transactional finance and month-end accounting.
You will work closely with operational leaders and the senior leadership team to ensure accuracy in data and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Providing friendly, professional, and timely payroll support to all employees
Ensuring full compliance with company policies, awards, and employment legislation
Managing payroll adjustments, leave reconciliations, terminations, and related tasks




Interpreting awards and agreements to ensure accurate pay outcomes
Maintaining payroll systems and ensuring data integrity
Processing and verifying weekly, monthly, quarterly, and end-of-year reports
Manage accounts payable and receivable
·Support month-end close through transaction processing, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with accrued expenses, prepayments, and the fixed asset register.
About You:
Qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field
2+ years of experience in a similar role
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services award and NDIS would be highly regarded.
