Key Responsibilities● examining foodstuffs to ensure quality.
● preparing, seasoning and cooking food.
● operating cooking equipment.
● portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes.
● storing food in temperature-controlled facilities.




● preparing food to meet special dietary requirements.
● cleaning food preparation areas.
● plan menus and estimate food requirements.
● train other kitchen staff and apprentices.Qualifications & Skills● Trade Qualifications: Certificate IV in Kitchen Management (or equivalent) with at least 1 year relevant experience.
● Knowledge and experience in high-volume food preparation and a fast-pacedcustomer environment.
● High level of interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
● Proven ability to work effectively under pressure.
● Ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
● Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
