Talent Quarter is proud to be partnering with a well-established GP Clinic in Double Bay to find two experienced Practice Nurses to join their team on a permanent part-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse who enjoys working in a busy General Practice workplace and is looking for the stability of a permanent role, with the flexibility of part-time hours.
The Clinic You'll be joining a well-established Medical Centre with a supportive multidisciplinary team, including:18 GPs (a mix of full-time and part-time doctors)3 Registered Nurses4 visiting PsychologistsAn experienced Practice ManagerA friendly reception teamWith an established nursing team already in place, you'll have plenty of support around you while working across a varied Practice Nursing workload.
The Role We're recruiting for two permanent part-time positions:Position 1: 2 days per weekPosition 2: 3 days per weekBetween the two roles, Mondays and Tuesdays need to be covered each week.
The remaining days are flexible and will be agreed with the successful Nurses.
For example, one Nurse might work Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, while the other works Tuesday and Friday.
As Practice Nurse, you'll work closely with the GPs, nursing team and wider clinic staff to provide high-quality patient care.
Your responsibilities will include:Wound care and dressingsChronic Disease Management,



Care Plans and Health AssessmentsImmunisations and vaccinationsAssisting GPs with minor proceduresECGs and spirometryMaintaining accurate clinical documentation using Best Practice softwareGeneral treatment room and Practice Nursing dutiesAbout You We're looking for a confident and experienced Practice Nurse who enjoys being part of a team-oriented, patient-focused team.
To be considered, you will ideally have:Current AHPRA registration as a Registered NursePrevious General Practice / Practice Nursing experienceCurrent CPR/BLS and First Aid certificationCurrent National Police CheckCurrent Working with Children CheckStrong immunisation knowledge and experienceExperience with wound care, chronic disease management and health assessmentsExcellent communication and organisational skillsA friendly, professional and patient-focused approachThe ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a larger clinical teamWhat's On OfferPermanent part-time | 2 or 3 days per weekFlexibility around your working days (Monday or Tuesday required)Up to $45 per hour + super, depending on experienceJoin a well-established GP clinic in Double BayWork alongside 18 GPs and a supportive nursing teamVaried and hands-on Practice Nursing roleIf you're an experienced Practice Nurse looking for your next permanent part-time opportunity, I'd love to hear from you.
