Electrical Project Lead (Contract) | Gladstone, QLD An experienced Electrical Project Lead is required to support a portfolio of capital projects at a large industrial operation in Gladstone.Working within a live operating setting, you will lead electrical capital projects from planning and scope development through to execution, commissioning and handover.About the Role: Working within an operational industrial facility, you will lead the delivery of electrical infrastructure projects from planning and execution through to commissioning and handover.Initial projects will include HV and LV substation cell replacements and associated switchgear upgrades, providing the opportunity to lead critical electrical infrastructure improvements within an operational industrial facility.This is an initial 6-12 month contract role based full-time on site in Gladstone.

Key Responsibilities:Lead electrical capital projects from concept, planning and execution through to handoverManage contractors, consultants and project delivery partnersCoordinate project scopes, schedules, budgets and risk management activitiesEngage closely with operations,



maintenance and engineering stakeholdersMonitor project progress and provide regular reporting to key stakeholdersSupport procurement, vendor management and contract administration activitiesEnsure compliance with site safety standards, engineering requirements and regulatory obligationsCoordinate commissioning activities and project close-out documentation About You:Demonstrated experience delivering electrical capital projects within industrial, manufacturing, resources, chemical or process plant environmentsExperience delivering HV and/or LV electrical infrastructure projectsStrong contractor management and stakeholder engagement capabilityAbility to manage project scope, schedule, cost and delivery outcomesDegree-qualified Electrical Engineer or equivalent project delivery backgroundExperience with ABB switchgear or protection systems will be highly regarded What's on Offer:Initial 6-12 month contractGladstone-based site roleApproximately 40-hour weeks during planning phases, with 12-hour days required during key execution and shutdown activitiesOpportunity to lead critical HV/LV electrical infrastructure projects within a major industrial operation.Potential for contract extension To apply, please submit an updated copy of your CV or contact Anna Dziopa on ************ for a confidential discussion.
