This is a remote 60 bed hospital.
The service requires high level skills and demonstrated cultural competence working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population.
There is a high incidence of domestic and family violence, child neglect and abuse reporting and statutory child removal.

Following this period, subsidised staff accommodation rates will apply, subject to availability.
Studio unit (on campus): approximately $340 per fortnight, Shared unit/house (off campus): approximately $400 per fortnight, One-bedroom unit (on campus): approximately $400 per fortnight To be considered, you will have: Relevant qualifications in Social Work that meets membership eligibility requirements of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
Experience in acute hospitals, including emergency department and general medicine wardsExperience in contemporary DFSV intervention, risk assessment and safety planning in regional and remote context.




Proven ability to independently plan and prioritise a high-volume complex workload within an ever changing work environment.
