Simmons Civil is seeking a reliable and safety-consciousEWP Operator / Spotterto join our team in Gladstone, QLD.
Your primary focus will be on maintainingsite safety, operating an EWP, assisting withgeneral labouring duties, and providingspottingservices to ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with site requirements.
Key responsibilities
Provide spotting services and operating mobile plant and equipment, ensuringsafe movement and operations in office
Performgeneral labouringduties including site preparation, material handling, and debris removal
Maintain clear communication with equipment operators and site personnel usingradio communications
Conduct regular site inspections to identify andreport hazardsand unsafe conditions
Assist with thesetup and breakdownof work areas and equipment
Maintainhousekeepingstandards and keep work areas clean and organised
What we're looking for
Proven experience working as a Labourer / Spotter / EWP Operator in industrial,
construction, or civil settings
White Card (Construction Induction Card)
EWP ticket / high risk work licence
3-site Medipass - Yellow (highly desirable)
Gladstone site inductions (highly desirable)
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour duties
Reliability and punctuality, with a positive attitude towards work
Current manual driver's licence and vehicle to get to work is essential
