What you'll be doingYou'll work across a varied portfolio of clients and be involved in:
Preparing financial statements for small and medium-sized businesses across a range of entity types
Preparing and lodging income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
Preparing and lodging quarterly BAS
Reconciling Xero files and completing general bookkeeping duties
Assisting with SMSF accounting and taxation matters, where applicable
Responding to day-to-day accounting and taxation queries and providing practical support to clients
Liaising with the ATO on behalf of clients
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records
Assisting with general practice administration as required
What we're looking forWe're looking for an Accountant who is technically capable,



personable and genuinely enjoys working with clients.
You'll ideally have:
At least 1 year of experience in Business Services or Tax Accounting
Experience preparing financial statements and income tax returns across multiple entity types
Experience working withXero Practice Manager and Xero Ledger
Strong communication skills and the confidence to deal directly with clients
A friendly, professional and approachable manner
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
A proactive, can-do attitude and a genuine focus on client service
Experience with SMSFs and BGL will be highly regarded, but is not essential.

$75,000–$90,000 + super, depending on experience
