Full‐Time Butcher – Superior Meats (Immediate Start)
Superior Meats is expanding our team and looking for an experienced butcher who takes pride in their craft, delivers exceptional customer service, and enjoys working in a fast‐paced, community‐focused environment.
About the Role
We're seeking a reliable and skilled full‐time butcher to join our shop.
This role offers consistent hours and a mix of production, customer service, and general shop duties.
No two days are the same, and you'll be part of a hardworking team that values quality and genuine customer care.
Key Responsibilities
Break down, prepare, and present a wide range of meat cuts to high standards
Operate machinery safely (bandsaw, mincer, slicer, etc.)
Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and OH&S; practices
Serve customers with professionalism and strong product knowledge
Assist with stock rotation, packing, labelling, and merchandising




Work collaboratively with the team to keep the shop running smoothly
About You
Qualified butcher or significant hands‐on experience in the trade
Strong knife skills and attention to detail
Friendly, approachable, and confident with customers
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required
Comfortable working in a busy environment and managing multiple tasks
Committed to maintaining a clean and safe workspace
Hours
Full‐time position including availability on Saturdays.
