Working closely with senior management team, you will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for plumbing projects across Melbourne.
Key responsibilities
Assist with reviewing project plans, specifications, and tender documents
Perform quantity take-offs and cost calculations
Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
Prepare and maintain tender documentation
Support the preparation of quotations and estimates
Update databases and project records
Liaise with managers, suppliers, and clients as required
Assist in the handover of successful projects to the operations team
Maintain ongoing relationships with suppliers and reps
Complete orders with suppliers prior to projects commencing
About you
Previous experience in construction, plumbing, estimating, or administration is preferred
Qualification or studies in Construction Management, Building, Engineering, Plumbing,
or a related field is advantageous
Strong numerical and analytical skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Solid communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Eagerness to learn and develop within the construction industry
