As Human Resources Assistant/Admin, you will assist the HR Manager to manage the HR department and complete role-related tasks required for Human Resources within the Traffic Management industry.
This is a permanent full-time role (Monday to Friday) based in Bayswater, WA, in a fast-paced setting within a rapidly expanding company.
On-site parking is provided, and there is room for role growth within a collaborative office environment.
Key responsibilities
Assist the HR Manager and complete role-related tasks required for Human Resources within the Traffic Management industry
Liaise with the Scheduling department to identify staffing needs and induction/training requirements, and address as required
Assist employees in completing client-specific or site inductions
Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle including arranging and conducting interviews, background checks, hiring, onboarding, training & development, performance appraisal and employment exit processes
Assist in arranging and conducting Disciplinary Action procedures where required
Address reports of Grievances and/or Incidents concerning Employee Relations
Maintain employee records, information and databases
Ensure ongoing compliance with all procedures, policies and processes
Assist in arranging required training for employees to ensure accreditations remain current
Assist in managing the HR email inbox,



responding to communications in a timely manner
About you
Human Resources Qualification is preferred
Previous experience in a HR role in Western Australia (any level) would be highly regarded
Background in the Construction, Mining and/or Traffic Management industry would be highly regarded
Understanding of key relevant legislation and legal requirements relating to Human Resources in Western Australia would be highly regarded
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Professional and proficient levels of communication
Fluency in written & spoken English
Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail
Able to work independently as well as within a departmental team, and collaborate with wider Departments
