The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experiencedServiceNow Developerto support a major banking client on a large-scale ServiceNow transformation program.
This role will focus on the design, development, and optimisation of ServiceNow solutions acrossIT Operations Management (ITOM)andIT Asset Management (ITAM), with a particular focus onHAM, SAM, CMDB, CSDM, Discovery and Service Mapping.
This is an excellent prospect to work on a complex enterprise environment, helping to improve service visibility, operational efficiency, and asset governance across a large banking organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow solutions across ITOM and ITAM modules.
Implement and supportHardware Asset Management (HAM)andSoftware Asset Management (SAM)capabilities.
Develop and maintain a robust and accurateConfiguration Management Database (CMDB).
Implement and align solutions with theCommon Service Data Model (CSDM)framework.
Configure and optimiseDiscoveryandService Mappingcapabilities.
Develop workflows, integrations, automation, and custom ServiceNow applications.
Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.




Support platform upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to solution design discussions and best-practice implementation approaches.
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong experience as aServiceNow Developerwithin enterprise environments.
Deep expertise across:
ServiceNow ITOM
ServiceNow ITAM
Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
Software Asset Management (SAM)
CMDB
CSDM
Discovery
Service Mapping
Strong ServiceNow scripting and platform development experience.
Experience delivering ServiceNow solutions in complex, large-scale organisations.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Mandatory Certifications
ServiceNowCertified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNowCertified Application Developer (CAD)
Desirable
ServiceNowCertified Technical Architect (CTA)
Experience working within the banking or financial services sector.
Experience with enterprise-scale ServiceNow transformation programs.
