Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring the highest level of service and overall guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
Monitor and maintain the restaurant's financial performance, including budgeting and cost control
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies
Develop and implement strategies to improve the restaurant's profitability and efficiency
Maintain a high level of customer service by interacting with guests and addressing any concerns or complaints
Oversee inventory and ordering of supplies to ensure adequate stock levels
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities and events
Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure all employees are up-to-date on company policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, including overseeing cleaning and maintenance tasks
Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for menu changes and improvements to the overall dining experience
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 12 months experience in a restaurant management position
Diploma of Hospitality Management at least.
Proven track record of successfully managing a team and achieving financial targets
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control
Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software
Food safety certification is preferred
