We are seeking an experienced, highly organised and proactive House Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of a beautiful family home in Toorak.
You will support a busy family with school-aged children, ensuring the home, family calendar, meals, errands and household logistics are managed efficiently and seamlessly.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
The successful candidate will thoroughly enjoy a varied role, naturally anticipate what needs to be done, take initiative and take pleasure in creating order and structure within a home.
You will complete the daily maintenance clean and laundry, coordinate household suppliers and trades, and manage the wider household team (a weekly cleaner, gardeners and a pool maintenance team).
The role is primarily focused on household support, however light support with the children will be required, including school runs and after-school activities, approx.
2-3 days per week.
Someone with a genuine love of cooking will enjoy this role: you will plan and prepare healthy, wholesome homestyle dishes using beautiful organic produce, catering to dietary requirements as specified.
Household administration will be a large part of the role, so strong computer skills and experience with organisational systems are essential.
You will manage family appointments and calendars, schedule household administration, book travel and ensure the home operates smoothly behind the scenes.
The ideal candidate is warm, calm and positive, highly reliable and discreet, with excellent communication skills.
You will ideally have 5+ years' experience in a similar role, with excellent references.
This is an excellent chance for a forward-thinking, experienced House Manager who takes pride in their work and would love to support a wonderful family.
