WEmpower Services is currently seeking an experienced Family Support Worker to join their team.
The role may involve working across regional NSW, including Central Coast covering post codes *********, Port Macquarie ****, South West Rocks **** and Coffs Harbour ****.
Responsibilities:
Assess clients' needs and help develop and provide suitable support, education and training programs.
Provide practical support and care to families, children and people with disability.
Monitor clients' progress and provide ongoing support based on their individual needs.
Keep records and prepare reports about clients' progress and support needs.
Refer clients and families to other health,



disability, welfare and community services when they need additional support.
Work with families, community organisations, government agencies and other service providers to coordinate support for clients.
Help families understand and access available community and disability support services.
-Provide information and guidance to families to help them manage their day-to-day support needs.
Required:
At least 3 years work experience in the relevant field;
-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
Outstanding attention to details;
Ability to work effectively with families and other service providers;
-Patience, empathy and a caring approach.
A salary of $80,000 - $85,000 plus super is on offer to the successful candidate.
