Position: Machine Operator

Position Overview
We are seeking a Machine Operator who is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of roll forming and metal fabrication machinery to produce high-quality steel components.
This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow drawings and instructions, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork within a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a variety of roll forming machines in accordance with production requirements
Operate other metal fabrication machinery as required
Follow instructions, drawings, and documentation provided by the drafting department and senior employees
Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively
Monitor material and stock levels when reloading roll formers and other fabrication machines
Ensure components are produced to required dimensions, standards, and quality specifications
Carry out work in both workshop and construction site environments as required
Maintain clean, safe, and organised work areas, tools, and equipment




Wear required safety clothing and correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE)
Carry out all work in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and company procedures
Skills & Experience
Experience operating roll forming or metal fabrication machinery (preferred)
Ability to read and follow drawings, job sheets, and instructions
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
Forklift License an advantage
Good communication skills
Workplace Health & Safety
Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to follow safety procedures, SWMS, and company policies
Willingness to participate in safety training and toolbox meetings
