Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government agency to engage a Shared Services Support Officer for a contract role based in Dubbo.
This opportunity is offered on a contract until 24/12/2026.
About the Position
The Shared Services Support Officer operates in a high-volume contact centre environment providing customer support across phone, live chat and administrative channels.
The role focuses on delivering first-contact resolution and processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Duties
Respond to customer enquiries across inbound calls, live chat and administrative channels
Provide high-quality customer service and resolve enquiries from internal and external customers
Process transactions accurately using procedures, templates and knowledge resources
Identify and elevate customer issues, service disruptions and emerging trends
Use multiple systems and communication tools simultaneously to manage workload and document interactions
Participate in quality assessments,



training and operational performance activities
Requirements/Skills
Experience in a customer-centric setting such as a contact centre, service centre or shared services environment
Ability to adapt to and implement new processes and procedures
Ability to build rapport, understand customer requirements and deliver quality customer service from first contact
Experience using multiple systems and learning new technology quickly
Accurate touch typing skills with greater than 85% accuracy and a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute
Willingness to complete reference checks, police check and right to work verification
