A rare Senior Manager opportunity with a well-regarded Adelaide CBD firm that has been partnering with local families and privately owned businesses for over 30 years.
About The Role
This is a Senior Manager position within the Business Services & Tax division of an established Adelaide chartered accounting firm.
You will lead a portfolio of quality clients, work closely with the Partners on complex compliance and advisory engagements, and play a key role in mentoring and developing the team around you.
The Partners are actively succession planning and are looking for someone who wants to grow into the business long term - equity is on the table for the right person.
What You Will Be Doing
Managing a broad portfolio of private clients including family groups and privately owned businesses
Leading complex compliance and tax engagements from start to finish
Providing advisory services across tax planning, structuring and business performance
Working directly alongside the Partners on key client relationships and firm initiatives
Reviewing and mentoring junior and intermediate accountants
Contributing to the firm's shift toward an advisory-led service model
What We Are Looking For
CA or CPA qualified
8+ years of Australian public practice experience, with significant time at Manager or Senior Manager level
Strong technical knowledge across business services, tax compliance and advisory
Proven ability to manage a client portfolio independently
Natural leadership presence with experience mentoring team members
A commercial mindset and genuine interest in client outcomes
Ambition to move beyond compliance and grow into an advisory-focused role
2 days WFH per week and flexible schedule
Established portfolio of fees ready to take over from day one
Firm is heavily investing in technology and AI - target of 70% advisory within 2 years
Equity pathway available for the right candidate through Partner succession planning
