Experienced Full Registration - Kindergarten Teacher (ECT)
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you'll design and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
You'll play a key role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing, while building strong, genuine partnerships with families and colleagues in an established and supportive centre.
Key responsibilities
Plan, implement and evaluate an educational program that reflects the EYLF and extends each child's learning and development
Support each child to develop a robust sense of identity, connection to their world, wellbeing, confidence and effective communication skills
Lead an inclusive environment that honours diversity and reflects current best practice in early childhood education
Contribute to the ongoing development and review of the service philosophy and Quality Improvement Plan
Build warm, collaborative relationships with families and community
Champion child safety and wellbeing as a priority, in line with Child Safe Standards and mandatory reporting obligations
Foster a positive, reflective team culture alongside educators and leadership
Manage the day-to-day operation of the assigned room, including providing leadership and support to educators and staff
Assist with the development, implementation and reflection of the educational program in collaboration with the Educational Leader




Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff and management
About you
Degree in Early Childhood from a recognised university (ACECQA-approved)
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
Demonstrated knowledge of the EYLF, Education and Care Services National Law *****) and National Regulations *****)
Current Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting qualification and CPR
Current ACECQA-approved Anaphylaxis and emergency Asthma Management training
Accredited Child Protection Training
Valid Working with Children Check and current National Police Check
Commitment to reflective practice, inclusive education and continuous professional growth
