About the role
This is a hands-on, fast-paced and varied role where no two days are exactly the same.
You'll be responsible for keeping the fleet safe, compliant, clean, well-presented and ready for customers — while working closely with suppliers,



customers and the wider Cool Rentals team.
Key responsibilities
Managing and coordinatingfleet servicing, repairs and maintenance
Inspecting vehicles and identifying damage, defects and maintenance requirements
Ensuring vehicles meetCool Rentals' presentation and quality standards
Ensuring vehicles and components aresafe, compliant and operational
Coordinating with mechanics, suppliers, customers and other service providers
Building and maintaining strong relationships withcustomers and suppliers
Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance such as changing globes, fitting reflectors, and performing other small repairs
Preparing vehicles for hire and ensuring they'reclean, safe and ready to go
Assisting with vehicle deliveries and collections
Cleaning vehicles when required
Answering phones and assisting customers with enquiries
Problem-solving issues as they arise - bothproactively and reactively
Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operational requirements
Using computer systems to manage fleet requirements and maintain accurate records
What We're Looking For
We're not necessarily looking for someone who has spent their entire career in fleet management.
We're looking for the right person.
You will ideally be:
Customer-focusedwith previous customer service or retail experience
A confident communicator who can deal professionally with customers, suppliers and colleagues




Practical and hands-on, with a willingness to get stuck in
Highly organised with a strongeye for detail
Proactive, adaptable and flexible
Comfortable working independently but equally happy working as part of a team
Confident using computers, phones and basic systems
Reliable, responsible and able to take ownership of tasks
Positive, upbeat and someone who brings a"can-do" attitudeto work every day
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change
Physically comfortable with a role that involves being on your feet and working around vehicles
A current and validdriver's licence
