Position:2 x Permanent Part-Time OSHC Assistants / Relief Coordinators (2IC/3IC)
Location:Bangalow Public School OSHC
Hours:School terms - 20 to 25 hours per week and up to 38 hours during Vacation Care.
Days:Monday to Friday
Northern Rivers Children's Services (NRCS) is growing — and we're thrilled to expand our Bangalow Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program!
We're on the lookout for enthusiastic, caring, and creative 2 xAssistants / Relief Coordinatorsto join our vibrant team.

What You'll Do
As part of our OSHC team, you'll help deliver a high-quality, inclusive program that children look forward to every day.
You'll:
Create fun, age-appropriate experiences that spark imagination and confidence.
Ensure every child's safety, wellbeing, and sense of belonging.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and school staff.
Set up and pack away activities, keeping spaces tidy and welcoming.
Support coordination tasks and uphold NRCS and school policies.
Assist with record keeping and compliance in line with theEducation and Care Services National Regulationsand theMy Time Our Placeframework.
Before School Care:7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
After School Care3:00 PM – 5:00PM (approximately)




Vacation Care:Up to 8 hours per day (preferred but not essential)
Total Contracted Hours:******* hours per week
Pay Rate:$***** – $***** /hour (based on qualifications & experience)
Worker Retention Allowance:$3.92 – $5.44/hour
Flexibility:Occasional shifts at other NRCS services (Coordinator pay rates apply for responsible person duties).
You're someone who brings energy, empathy, and initiative to every shift.
You'll have:
A currentWorking with Children Check
Experience working with or caring for children
First Aid, CPR andChild Protectioncertifications
National Police Check (no more than 6 months old)
Completed or willing to complete the Child Safe (Gekko) training
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for creating safe, inclusive, and engaging environments
A good level of fitness to join in active play and outdoor fun!
Basic computer skills and attention to detail
References from two relevant referees will be required.
