The Role
Reporting to the Structural Engineering Manager you are responsible for delivering structural engineering solutions across a range of mineral processing projects.
The role contributes to the design, analysis, and documentation of structural systems, supporting project delivery from concept through to execution.
Working within a multidisciplinary team this position also plays a key role in ensuring designs are efficient, compliant, and aligned with client and project requirements.
The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis.
Brief Duties
Deliver structural design and analysis for mineral processing facilities, including steel and concrete structures
Develop and check engineering calculations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements
Perform structural modelling and analysis using SpaceGASS and Strand7
Produce and review technical deliverables, including reports, specifications,



and design documentation
Interface effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and integrated design outcomes
Supporting project delivery from concept through to execution
Contributing to design reviews and continuous improvement
Criteria
Degree-qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering
5+ years' experience in an engineering and/or project delivery environment
Strong capability in structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structures
Experience in mining preferred, but will consider a background in buildings and infrastructure
Strong experience with Australian Standards and Australian Building Codes
Strong working knowledge of SpaceGASS and/or Strand7
Practical, solutions-focused mindset
Ability to work both independently and within a team
