This position is an integral part of a high performing hotel team, and a key contributor to the hotel's ongoing success.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Provide a warm welcoming smile for all our guests
Assist guests entering and departing the hotel with luggage
Familiarise the guests with the hotel rooms, facilities, amenities and services
Deliver messages, faxes and other items to guest rooms or other hotel areas
Assist the Doorperson; opening car doors, greeting guests, summoning taxi's, keeping the Porte Cochere (driveway) clear, loading/unloading luggage into vehicles, labelling luggage & car keys
Monitor cleanliness of the Ground Floor Lobby, Front Driveway, Porters Station & Back Corridor and the Baggage Store
Valet parking
For this role, your attributes will be inclusive of the following
5 star hotel experience is an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong work ethic
Proven organisational & time management skills
Hold a current manual Australian drivers license
Immaculate presentation and grooming
Ability to work independently




Eye for detail coupled with a robust ability to proactively identify, prioritise and manage multiple tasks
Successfully accomplish objectives in a busy and challenging workplace
The successful candidate will be required to work between the hours of *****pm through to 8am.

This is a fixed term contract through to February **** - with the possibility of an extension.
HYGIENE AND GROOMING - Naturally in the service industry high standards of personal presentation, hygiene, grooming, and conservative hairstyles are of the greatest importance.
This must be present throughout the interview stage.
