Culcairn Multi-Purpose Service is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a 12-week contract basis, starting 4 November ****.
This rural healthcare service delivers essential emergency care to its community, and the successful candidate will play a key role in managing presentations, conducting triage, and leading the department when in charge.
Based in Culcairn, NSW, this is an opportunity to make a direct impact in a close-knit healthcare setting.
Manage emergency presentations and lead triage in a rural healthcare setting
Take charge of the department and coordinate patient care during shifts
12-week contract from 4 November **** to 27 January ****
Preferred Requirements
Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department setting




Proven competence in triage assessment and patient prioritisation
Experience in an in-charge or leadership capacity within an ED
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
Ability to coordinate care and communicate effectively with the broader healthcare team
Preferred Qualifications
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain
Post-graduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or equivalent clinical experience in ED settings
