Beerwah Golf Club is seeking Greenkeepers / Groundsmans to assist with the maintenance and presentation of our golf course and surrounds.
This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys outdoor work and takes pride in maintaining high-quality playing surfaces.
Reporting to the Course Superintendent, you will assist with daily course maintenance and improvement works.
Key responsibilities
Mowing and presentation of greens, tees, fairways, and surrounds
Turf renovation and improvement work (aeration, topdressing, scarifying, etc.)
Weed, pest, and disease management
Irrigation operation, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance
Bunker maintenance and course detailing
Operation of turf maintenance machinery (mowers, trimmers, sprayers, aerators, etc.)
General grounds work and upkeep around the facility
Following WH&S; procedures and secure work practices
About you
Experience in greenkeeping, sports turf, landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance
An interest in turf and working outdoors in all weather conditions
A strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work safely and follow instructions
A valid Australian driver's licence and unrestricted working rights
Experience operating turf machinery and maintaining equipment
Chemical handling accreditation (e.g., ACDC or equivalent)
Understanding of irrigation systems and basic repairs
Knowledge of WH&S; and environmental requirements relevant to a golf course
Full-time employment in a stable, hands-on role
Ongoing training and development in turf and course maintenance
