About The Role
We are seeking an experiencedWWTP & Water Reuse Project Engineerto support a major manufacturing transformation and sustainability program within a leading FMCG production facility.
The successful candidate will lead wastewater treatment, water reuse, and environmental improvement projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, sustainability performance, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control activities.
Coordinate engineering consultants, contractors, equipment suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Oversee installation, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
Manage FAT, SAT, commissioning, testing, and operational validation.
Ensure environmental compliance and operational performance objectives are achieved.
Provide technical leadership on wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
Drive safety, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout project execution.
Support transition from project completion to routine plant operations.




Develop operational procedures, maintenance strategies, and performance monitoring plans.
Degree in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Process, or Civil Engineering.
Solid wastewater treatment and utilities experience within manufacturing environments.
Proven experience managing wastewater treatment plant installation or capacity expansion projects.
Demonstrated experience with project management, contractor supervision, commissioning, and cost control.
Experience within dairy, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or FMCG manufacturing environments preferred.
Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Water recycling and reuse programs.

Brownfield manufacturing projects.
Commissioning and startup experience.
Immediate availability and willingness to be based on-site in Kiewa, Victoria, Australia, are highly preferred.
