You will be the organisation's single point of contact for everything to do with the properties.
Your role is to keep them safe, compliant, well maintained and performing.
Your week will mix site visits and inspections with planning, budgeting and reporting.
Key responsibilities
Run planned preventative maintenance and respond quickly to repairs and emergencies
Build and manage a reliable panel of trades and contractors: quotes, supervision and sign-off
Keep every property fully compliant, including essential safety measures, fire, gas, electrical, smoke alarms and pools
Scope and deliver capital works and refurbishments on time and on budget
Prepare property budgets, manage invoices and find savings
Liaise with tenants, contractors, authorities and the owner's advisers
Provide clear and regular reporting to the owner
About you
5+ years in facilities,
building or property management
Solid knowledge of building services, maintenance and construction
A working understanding of Victorian property compliance and OH&S; obligations
A proven track record of managing contractors and projects to budget
Clear communication, good organisation and confidence with spreadsheets and software
Absolute discretion and integrity
A full driver's licence and your own vehicle, plus a satisfactory police check
Highly regarded:a qualification in facilities, property or construction management; a trade background; experience working for a private owner or family office; a White Card and first aid certificate.
