HR Truck Driver – Sunshine Coast & Brisbane

What We Offer
$***** per hour
Overtime rates paid on hours over 38
Typically ***** hours per week
Monday to Friday only – your weekends are yours
Day shifts only, with start times between 5:00 and 7:00am
Brisbane and Sunshine Coast runs – home every night
Modern, clean, well-maintained trucks – no rough gear here
A practical operations team that picks up the phone and helps sort things out
Immediate start for the right person

You'll initially start as a casual employee.
Good drivers are generally offered permanent employment after approximately four weeks.
When you move to permanent, we keep you on the same $***** hourly rate – 25% above the Award ordinary rate – plus permanent employee entitlements.
What the Job Actually Involves
This is a pickup and delivery role across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, running out of our Kunda Park depot.
You'll be on the road for most of the day, but it's not just driving.
You'll be loading and unloading, organising your run, using the depot forklift, and dealing with customers at both ends.
Your day will include:
Pickups and deliveries across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast
Loading, unloading and restraining freight properly




Forklift work at the depot and on customer sites
Accurate paperwork and scanning
Keeping in touch with the operations team when plans change
Pre-start checks and taking care of your truck and equipment
Representing ECFD professionally with every customer you deal with
Who We're Looking For
You've been driving long enough to know how to do the job properly, and you still care about doing it well.
You'll need:
A current HR licence and at least 2 years' HR driving experience
A current forklift licence
A clean driving history and a strong safety record
Positive knowledge of Brisbane and Sunshine Coast roads
A solid understanding of load restraint, fatigue management and compliance
The ability to work independently and solve problems on the road
To be friendly, fit and reliable – someone who backs their workmates
