About the role
St. Scholastica's Catholic Primary School located in Burwood is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and friendly classroom teacher to join our school in a Junior full time classroom teaching postion to cover a maternity leave position.
The successful application will be required to:
Demonstrate a commitment to the Catholic ethos, mission and values of the school.
Demonstrate sound knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and its effective implementation.
Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed and differentiated learning programs, particularly in English and Mathematics.
Demonstrate knowledge and application of explicit instruction, aligned with the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement.
Use assessment data to identify student learning needs,
monitor progress and inform teaching practice.
Establish positive, respectful relationships with students, colleagues and families, fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Work collaboratively within professional learning teams to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
Demonstrate strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Commit to ongoing professional learning, reflective practice and continuous improvement.

Special Requirements
VIT registration
Accreditation to teach RE in a Catholic School or willingness to do so.
