About the Role
As a Communications and Marketing Business Partner, you will play a key role in shaping how Council engages with and informs our community.
Reporting to theTeam Leader – Strategic Communications and Marketingthe core responsibilities include:
Partner with leaders and stakeholdersto provide trusted communications and marketing advice and support organisational priorities.
Develop and deliver integrated communication and marketing campaignsthat engage the community and promote Council's services, projects and achievements.
Coordinate communication activities across digital and traditional channels, including social media, media relations, advertising, publications and stakeholder communications.
Create compelling content and identify opportunitiesto tell Council's stories and celebrate positive community outcomes.




Evaluate and report on campaign effectivenessand use insights to continuously improve communication and marketing outcomes.
About You
You are astrategic and proactive communications and marketing professionalwho enjoys partnering with stakeholders to deliver impactful communication and marketing outcomes.
You bring:
Education & Experience– Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, media, public relations or a related discipline, with demonstrated experience delivering communications activities in a complex organisational environment.
Written & Oral Communication– Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and engaging content for a variety of audiences and platforms.
Media and Communications Experience– Experience supporting media engagement, communications planning and content development across multiple channels including digital and social media.
Stakeholder Engagement– Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with internal stakeholders and work collaboratively to deliver communications outcomes.
