About the Role
Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will be working with the wider kitchen team , ensuring food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard while maintaining food safety, cleanliness and efficient kitchen operations.
Part time role working min 8 hours a week upto 37 hours a week).
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and presentation standards.
Maintain consistency in food quality, portion control and presentation.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented kitchen.
Work collaboratively with the Sous Chef and kitchen team to achieve service and operational objectives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a Cook in a similar skilled kitchen role (desirable 1 years experience)
Relevant culinary qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (desirable or working towards)
Strong food preparation, cooking and presentation skills.
A sound understanding of food safety, hygiene and safe kitchen practices




The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Robust organisational skills and attention to detail.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork.
Able to work a roster Wednesday to Sunday including evenings, weekends and some public holidays as required - min 8 hours a week with max 37 hours a week
