Iss seeking an experienced and passionateKindergarten Teacherto join our team on a part-time basis, providing maternity leave cover from December **** to July ****.
Working in our 3-year-old Kindergarten room, you'll play an important role in creating a nurturing, engaging and inclusive learning environment where children can build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy meaningful learning experiences.
We're looking for a dedicated educator who is passionate about early childhood education, understands the importance of play-based learning and is committed to supporting every child's development and school readiness.
About the Role
Part time position providing maternity leave cover from December **** to July ****.
Based in our 3-year-old Kindergarten room.
Plan and deliver a high-quality Kindergarten program aligned with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
Create engaging learning experiences that support children's development, wellbeing and school readiness.
Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and fellow educators.
Maintain flexibility to work across our operating hours of 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, with rotating shifts as required.
About You




Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-approved equivalent
Current VIT registration – provisional or full
Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Kindergarten Teacher
Experience working with children across the3–5 year old age group
Experience confidently managing and supporting challenging behaviours
Strong understanding of the EYLF and contemporary early childhood practices
Strong curriculum knowledge and compliance awareness
A confident, reflective and relational teaching style
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing
A team-focused approach and willingness to collaborate with educators and Centre Leadership
Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
