Australian Steel Mill Services is a major contractor and service provider to BlueScope Steel at Port Kembla, specialising in the handling, processing and marketing of by-product materials from steel manufacturing.
Reporting to the 21 Area Supervisor, this role is responsible for operating mobile and fixed plant.
This position is a full time, fixed term 6 month contract only.
The ideal candidate will:
Have extensive mobile & fixed plant operating experience.
Be committed to WHS and Environmental compliance.
Be able to maintain a working relationship with the 21 Area team, management and customers.
Ensuring effective and timely communication and reporting of plant issues.
Be able to work independently and in teams.
Be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and be flexible.
Desirable but not essential:
A current HR Licence.
Quarry Operations experience (conveyors, crushers, screens & control room)
