About the Role:
n
Excellent opportunity for a Casual Enrolled Nurse to join our clinical team at Cheltenham Manor Aged Care.
n
We are seeking caring, skilled and reliable nurses who are passionate about supporting the health, independence, dignity and wellbeing of older Australians.
n
This role is ideal for an EN who enjoys hands on clinical care, building genuine connections with residents and their families, and supporting a team of Personal Care Workers to deliver safe, high quality care.
n
Working within your scope of practice and under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will provide person centred clinical care, support care planning and documentation, and help create a safe,



compliant and continuously improving care environment.
n
This is a casual role. Shifts will be offered based on roster needs and your availability, so it's a great fit for someone looking for flexibility. We are looking for someone to start in the role ASAP.
n
Availability Requirements:
n
This is a casual position, however applicants must:
n
n
Be available to work at least 3 days per week
n
Be flexible across morning, afternoon, and night shifts
n
Be willing to work occasional weekend shifts (very rare, but required when needed)
n
n

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Provide clinical care in line with individual care plans and EN scope of practice
n
Undertake resident assessments and support the development and review of care plans
n
Administer medications (where endorsed) in line with policy and legislation
n
Perform clinical tasks such as vital signs monitoring, blood glucose testing, wound care and pressure area care
n
Respond to emergency situations and escalate appropriately to the RN or Manager




n
Support residents and families with clinical care needs, including palliative care
n
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including AN-ACC requirements
n
Provide guidance, support and oversight to Personal Care Workers
n
Participate in audits, quality reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
n
Identify and report hazards, incidents and near misses, and promote safe work practices
n
n
Qualifications and Experience:
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
(Required)
n
Experience working in residential aged care or a similar setting
n
Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, legislation and AN-ACC documentation requirements
n
Solid written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
n
Confidence using electronic clinical documentation systems
n
Ability to work autonomously within scope and as part of a multidisciplinary team
n
Medication endorsement, and experience training or mentoring care staff, will be highly regarded
n
