Sands Fridge Lines is seeking
reliable, hardworking and physically fit Labourers / Warehouse Operators
to join our Forrestfield operation.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced cold chain logistics environment. If you enjoy physical work, take pride in doing a job well, and want consistent full-time employment with a respected Western Australian company, we want to hear from you.
Working as part of a close-knit team, you will play an significant role in ensuring refrigerated freight is handled safely, efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily duties may include:
Loading and unloading refrigerated trailers
Unloading containers and freight
Pick packing chilled and frozen food products
Operating pallet jacks and manual handling equipment
Sorting and staging freight for dispatch
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Following food safety and quality procedures
Assisting with general warehouse and operational tasks as required
This is a varied role that will keep you active throughout the shift, with every day bringing new challenges and opportunities.
About the Role




This position is based in our Forrestfield facility and involves working in
chilled and refrigerated environments
.
The role is physically demanding and requires regular:
Lifting and carrying
Walking and standing for extended periods
Loading and unloading freight
Working in cold storage conditions
Applicants must be comfortable undertaking physical work for the duration of their shift.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
A strong work ethic and positive attitude
Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to attendance
Previous labouring, warehouse, freight handling or logistics experience
The ability to work independently and within a team environment
Good communication skills and the ability to follow directions
A commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labour
Flexibility to work day, afternoon or evening shifts
Availability for an immediate start
Highly Regarded
Previous experience in cold storage, food manufacturing or transport operations
Pallet jack experience
Forklift licence (LF)
